Fiat Automobiles SpA (now subsidiary of FCA i.e. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) traces its history back to 1899 year. Fiat Automobiles is the largest automobile manufacturer in Italy. Alfa Romeo and Lancia belong to the same group (popular abbreviation is FAL). Fiat’s most popular models include 500 (submodels 500L, 500X), Panda, Punto, Grande Punto, Bravo, Idea, Tipo, Freemont, Doblo, Talento, Ducato. Alfa Romeo’s popular models are Mito, 147, Gulia, Giulietta, Stelvio. Lancia models are being extinguished nowadays.

There is a well organised Polish net of authorised FAL (Fiat-Alfa-Lancia) dealers and the large central warehouse for FAL original spare parts (genuine spare parts in genuine packing) in Bielsko-Biala Poland. In Tychy there is a big factory plant of Fiat cars (used to produce Panda, now model 500 is made) and really enormous quantity of Tier 1 suppliers of spare parts for Fiat located their factories in Poland. It looks like Poland is an interesting source of original Fiat auto parts (OE, OEM, OES) when international trade of automotive genuine spare parts is considered.
